We will not permit a tour to proceed if we feel that our tour participants would be in danger. HOTELS We feature hotels specially selected for our tours, based on location as well as amenities. We're occasionally obliged to make substitutions. All hotels offer us standard grade (run-of-house) rooms. If you are arriving at a hotel before mid-day, please be patient, if checkout delays preparation of your room. TRAVELING ALONE Single rooms are often limited, so please reserve early. We can also try to match you with a roommate when and if possible. We can only assign a roommate if another person on the tour wishes to share. THREE IN A ROOM We can usually arrange for 3 travelers to occupy one room. But, for adults, the reduction is small, and you'll be in a standard room for two, with an extra foldaway bed and it can get cramped. MEALS We don't feature "standard" menus - but always try to make each included meal special. Breakfasts are usually American Buffet-Style. Beverages are not included with meals. KASHRUT On our tours throughout the world, hotels and most restaurants aren't kosher. Whenever we order a pre-set meal, we ensure that a fish, dairy or vegetarian meal be available for those who prefer it. Shellfish and pork never appear on a pre-set menu. ON TOUR Baggage Because of restricted storage space on motor coaches, we limit our travelers to one large suitcase, per person, on all of our tours, plus a carry-on. Saturdays & Jewish Holidays We schedule appropriate walking tours, otherwise Shabbat and Jewish holidays are days at leisure. Motorcoaches We utilize luxury Air Conditioned vehicles wherever possible. Your guide/Tour Manager arranges a daily rotation of seats to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to sit up front. In many countries, motor coaches do not have toilet facilities, but will make frequent stops. We do not permit smoking. For smaller groups, we utilize air conditioned 7 or 11 or 18 seater passenger cars or limos. Passports All tour participants must travel with a passport valid for at least 6 months after your tour ends. Visas American citizens don't need visas for most countries. For tours to countries for which Americans require a visa, we'll include instructions and application forms in your confirmation kit.
