  On tours with 15 or more participants, we include the services of one of our professional tour leaders: JACOB SHOSHAN Born in Jerusalem, Jacob is a licensed tour guide in Israel. He is also a teacher and lecturer for Tour Guide College – Hebrew University (a joint program with The Hebrew Union College, Jerusalem), Tel Aviv University, and Everyman’s University, Tel Aviv. Jacob is also a Senior Tour Director & Lecturer for the Geographical Society, Israel. Mr. Shoshan is one of our most celebrated and leading Tour Managers. He has visited 98 countries and led tours in 65 countries on all 6 continents. He is fluent in 15 languages and presents in-depth discussions on Jewish History, Philosophy and Culture as part of his escorting responsibilities. His background covers Holocaust Studies, Sephardi Jewish Heritage and Jewish Musicology. And, almost as important, Jacob’s personality is warm, nurturing and caring. A truly amazing and special person! Jacob is a member of IATM (International Association of Tour Managers). AVI CAMCHI Born in Haifa, Avi is a government licensed Tour Guide in Israel. He is a founding member of Kibbutz Yahel, the Arava Valley (Reform Movement). Director, teacher & lecturer for the Tour Guide College, State of Israel – Ministry of Tourism, for the Sinai Peninsula and the Negev Desert. He is a Senior Tour Director & Tour Guide for the Hebrew Union College, Jerusalem and a Senior Tour Coordinator, NFTY. Mr. Camchi is one of our most sought after Tour Managers, visiting and escorting tours in 5 continents. He is fluent in English, Hebrew and Spanish. His in-depth presentations include Holocaust Studies, Sephardi Jewish Heritage & Comparative Religions- including Jewish, Christian and Moslem Theology. He enjoys discussing topics ranging from Ancient & Modern History, Geology and Architecture to Ethnic Cuisine and Gastronomy. His sense of timing and humor is inpeccable; truly a joy to be with! Avi is a member of IATM (International Association of Tour Managers) DAVID GILINSKY Born in Jerusalem, David was a Paratrooper in the Israeli Defense Force and now resides in New York. He studied political science in Tel Aviv University and graduated in Business Management and Communications from Adelphi University, New York. David has traveled extensively around the world with us including Europe, the Orient and Cuba and has visted a total of 90 countries on all 6 continents. He is fluent in Hebrew, English and has a working knowledge of German and Yiddish. A congenial personality with a keen sense of humor, David is very organized and always looks for ways to enhance your travel experience.
